Project: Qualitative and quantitative analysis of protein in milk using chemometrics
Bio: I am a fourth-year Ph.D. candidate in Computing with an emphasis in Data Science at BSU, working in Owen McDougal's lab. My current research focuses on protein analysis in milk using chemometric methods, with my latest findings published in Foods journal. I anticipate completing my doctorate degree in 2026 and am actively seeking summer internship opportunities.
Prior to my doctoral studies, I earned my MSc in Fintech with distinction as a UK government scholarship recipient. I hold a BTech in Industrial Mathematics, graduating with distinction as the top student in my class. My undergraduate excellence led me to represent my university at the 2018 Nigerian National Mathematics Competition in Abuja, where my team secured second place nationally and qualified for the International Mathematics Competition in Bulgaria.
