Rachel Lindstrom
Utah State University
MS at USU, advisor Prateek Sharma
I am a master's student under Dr. Prateek Sharma. I defended my thesis in December 2024 and expect to graduate in April 2025. My research helps to understand pH variation seen in Cheddar cheese and its correlation with colloidal calcium phosphate. During my master’s degree, I spent one semester as an adjunct faculty member at BYU-I teaching Principles of Meat Science. Throughout my time at USU, I seized every opportunity to participate in product development and hope to one day work in the product development field. Currently, I am staying home with my newborn daughter, but I am planning to work in the dairy industry when the time comes.
